PHILOSOPHY
|
Hannah’s approach to the design process is a truly unique one. Her perpetual consumption of literature, music, film, art - in fact anything around her that could house inspiration - is what feeds her aesthetic. This osmosis is one that her family and friends unanimously agree to be exceptional. Intellectual as much as inquisitive, this visionary mind periodically invokes a character that is based on the many elements of her imagination at the time. This character, a one-time Frankenstein figure, develops, grows and manifests itself as a fully-fledged creature. Most importantly, this veritable vision is always a man and the muse at the foundation of each collection. The intention is always to create a tribute to the identity and mood of this man’s world; each collection is therefore a visual journal of intricacies that tell a story. When visual reference is developed into such specific and iconic form, the wearer is left with their own impression of an intoxicating figure of precise masculinity. |
Telling stories in this way has in fact become the signature of the brand; our narrative is played out through film, photography, virtual reality and our noteworthy events. At the core of our philosophy is the bringing together of many worlds, and an unshakeable belief in the potential greatness to be found in collaboration. An objective overview of the brand will acknowledge the presence of architectural, graphic, industrial and product design, as well as talking a similar language to fashion, film, music and art. This multi-disciplinary identification is one that has been fully embraced by Hannah and partner Nathan Morse. When the surrounding world is seemingly obsessed with the fast and the temporary, our sole aim is to tell tales through experience and create artifacts that last the test of time. Hand-crafted in London and made to limited edition, the definition of this brand is a staunch commitment to offering something utterly contemporary through the experiential and physical meeting of the ancient and the modern. |
